Biography
Attorney Tiffany Mitchell represents whistleblowers in cases involving fraud, retaliation, and corporate or government misconduct. As a former investigative and intelligence analyst across state and federal agencies, the financial sector, and the military, Attorney Mitchell brings over a decade of experience in fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and complex investigations to Cross Law Firm, S.C.
In addition, Attorney Mitchell handles employment and business litigation, including cases involving wage theft, misclassification and discrimination. She reviews and negotiates employment contracts, severance agreements, restrictive covenants, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), with a focus on healthcare professionals, executives, and commission-based roles. She also assists clients with partnership and small business formation, business disputes, and works in the CLF In-House Counsel Program to counsel business start-ups and small businesses.
Attorney Mitchell earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She also holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Drake University.
Outside of work, she values time with family, staying active, getting lost in a good book, and volunteering to support fellow veterans.
