In the Employment Discrimination Practice Area, Ms. Lowery counsels and represents employees on all types of employment discrimination claims in both State and Federal court and before administrative agencies. Her primary areas of practice are disability discrimination and accommodation as well as other types of employment discrimination and retaliation. In the Compensation Practice Area, Ms. Lowery handles wage and hour compensation and benefits issues. She also handles unemployment compensation and workers compensation, FMLA, COBRA, HIPPA, and related claims.
Ms. Lowery has a focus in the area of alternative dispute resolution to avoid the time, expense, and uncertainty of litigation when possible. Her background in alternative dispute resolution, specifically mediation, makes her effective in discovering each client's interests and working with the other side to achieve those interests.
