Biography
Attorney Taviss Smith focuses on all employment law matters for employees, including employment discrimination; wage & hour and other compensation claims; FMLA, workers compensation, and disability accommodation / discrimination. He also assists independent contractors with contracts and general business representation and litigation and he assists small business and start-ups.
Taviss grew up in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Finally landing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin after being hired into AmeriCorps with City Year Milwaukee, he graduated from Marquette Law School.
Attorney Smith believes that clients benefit from representation that is fair, reasonable, and honest and he prides himself on making the law understandable to all those trying to make a living.
