Cross Law Firm, S.C. Business Law Center Opens
Cross Law Firm, S.C. has expanded its offices to include the CLF Business Law Center so we can best focus on serving the legal needs of small businesses throughout Wisconsin.
CLF Business Law Center offers an in-house counsel program where for a monthly retainer, small business clients can call one of our lawyers to receive advice on questions about personnel, vendors, collections, regulatory compliance, and pre-litigation concerns. It is the goal of this program to offer our clients a proactive approach and a means to possibly avoid legal problems in the future.
The corporate form chosen for a business entity potentially affects every aspect of its operations. If you own a small business in Illinois or are a small business start-up in Wisconsin, our attorneys can help you decide whether you want to operate as a closely held business, limited liability company, partnership, co-operative, S-corporation, C-corporation, standard stock corporation, or sole proprietorship.
Our attorneys help our clients set-up personnel policies and procedures and advise our clients about directors' and officers' liability, franchising, reorganization, trade association membership and activity, joint ventures, mergers, dissolutions/start-ups, business successions and shareholders' rights. Our firm provides assistance with drafting and enforcing contracts, representation with governmental agencies, inter-facing with financial institutions, collections, defense of lawsuits, training for members of boards of directors (profit and non-profit), and day-to-day legal matters that arise.
