Attorney Profile
Christopher M. Kloth
Practice Areas
Mr. Kloth believes that the most important tenet in addressing a client’s legal problem is ensuring that all of a client’s needs have been satisfied. A corollary to this rule is that such representation must also be cost-effective. As such, Mr. Kloth strives to address every legal issue in a case, while ensuring that a client sustains minimum legal costs. Mr. Kloth works in both CLF’s Employment Division and its Business Law Center.
In the Employment Division, Mr. Kloth’s focus is on employment discrimination and employee benefits in both the private and public sector. He zealously represents clients by initially listening to his client’s problems, and then working with the client to determine the best solution. It is through this process that Mr. Kloth believes that his clients will leave his office satisfied and confident that they retained an attorney who has only their best interests in mind.
In CLF’s Small Business Center, Mr. Kloth’s primary focus and passion revolves around small businesses and non-profit organizations, particularly in litigation and providing start-up advice. In addition, Mr. Kloth meticulously drafts various contracts and agreements, from employee handbooks to employment contracts. In the arena of small and non-profit business, Mr. Kloth understands that time is of the essence, and that is why his principal concern is to keep his clients up-to-date and informed. Therefore, he believes in an open-door policy and strives to respond to his client’s concerns immediately. Mr. Kloth is also part of CLF’s “in-house” counsel retainer program to provide on-going, unlimited day-to-day assistance to small businesses in all aspects, including personnel matters, which are often urgent and, if not immediately resolved, distract management from its core business focus.
