Attorney Zachary Edwards focuses his practice in the areas of small business, employee and executive benefits and deferred compensation, non-compete and other restrictive covenants and employment contracts, and litigation and resolution of all medical-related employment claims and issues.

Mr. Edwards is dedicated to client satisfaction and he is vigilant to assure his clients understand their legal rights and responsibilities so he can work with his clients as a team to obtain the best outcome in accordance with their goals.

Mr. Edwards works closely with small and micro businesses and organizations from selection of the proper corporate structure, to drafting personnel policies and contracts and handling their litigation. He represents small businesses in Cross Law Firm?s ?In-House Counsel Program? to prevent legal problems and assure that his small business clients will not hesitate to pick up the phone to contact him regularly with questions to assure legal compliance and handling difficult situations properly.

Zach handles all aspects of employee and executive benefits, pay plans, deferred compensation plans, retirement compensation, bonuses, commissions, repayment agreements, and all issues related to compensation. He works with all issues related to medical-related benefit plans. He represents clients in Federal litigation of ERISA and other benefits claims as well as prevention.

Litigation and resolution of all medical-related employment claims is a primary focus of Mr. Edward?s litigation and resolution practice. He zealously represents employees to enforce their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act. Mr. Edwards represent employees from job counseling related to disabilities and Family & Medical Leave Act absences, to working with the parties to obtain amicable accommodation for employee disabilities, designing compliance plans for small businesses, and to zealously litigating violations of employee rights and retaliatory adverse employment actions related to disability and all employee medical issues.

Mr. Edwards? hobbies include boxing, soccer, watching football, and being active outdoors. During his time in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee, Mr. Edwards? was highly active within the Knoxville Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and he brings this philanthropic spirit to the Milwaukee community.
