Attorney N. Lynnette McNeely represents clients in Cross Law Firm’s Employment, Business and Fraud Groups in the firm’s Waukesha, WI office, although she also takes appointments in the Milwaukee office as needed. Her practice focuses on business transactions and contracts, employment, white collar defense, and cybersecurity.  In addition to all areas of employment, Attorney McNeely handles matters involving commercial agreements, criminal defense, business improvement districts, corporate and data governance policy, landlord/tenant, business organization, and 501(c)(3) governance. She defends those accused of white collar crimes from business fraud to federal matters involving SNAP and TANF violations.  In addition, Ms. McNeely handles consumer protection, Office of Federal Contract Compliance, Equal Employment Opportunity, public accommodations, and cyber ethics matters.

Ms. McNeely has a diverse professional background with a work history that includes experience as an actuarial analyst, asset management professional, systems analyst, and strategic technology management in addition to being a criminal defense, business transactional, and employment litigation attorney.

Ms. McNeely has lectured on the legal aspects of diversity and inclusion, offender re-entry employment, business organizations, cybersecurity regulations, and corporate policy and governance.  She has held leadership positions with various organizations such as the State Bar Board of Governors, Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation, Wisconsin Association of African American Lawyers, Community Benefit Trust, NAACP Legal Redress, and State Bar of Wisconsin Diversity Outreach Committee.   Ms. McNeely has participated in the Marquette University ACRE Program, Congressional Black Caucus Political Bootcamp, NAACP Leadership 500, and MCCA’s Creating Pathways to Diversity.   
She earned her J.D. in 2002 from Marquette Law School, and her B.A. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She is admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Ms. McNeely is a board member of Outreach for Hope, Films for the People, and JC Legal Resources Center.  She is also a member of Environmental Justice Taskforce with SEWRPC, and the Barristers.   During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, international travel, and exercise.
